This week I spend some time “remodelling” my fish tank (yet again ;) ). I took out about half the plants, because it was getting too crowded. I quite like the result and would like to show it off on my little blog here. :)

The tank holds about 240 liters (no idea how many gallons that is, sorry), about 15 different plant species and the fishes include: Melanotaenia sexlineata, Pseudomgil connieae, Allomogurnda nesolepis and Stiphodon sp. As you can see, I’m a rainbowfish fan. :)

So now, without further rambling, here is my fish tank as it stand today (26th January 2008).

As a true geek, breakfast is to be eaten in front of the computer. ;-)

Coffee and croissants, it can’t get any better than that.

To start the project I’ve chosen a photo which I took on the first day of the year.
We were on a little holiday in the Ardens and I shot this photo on a nice walk in the surrounding area of the little town Wéris.

It was around 4PM and the sun was starting to set, the light was quite spectacular. It’s not a super great photo, but I still like it. It kind of looks like everything is ablaze.

With this blog, I’m going to attempt to visualize the year 2008 as I experience it, by posting one photo each week. It won’t be very easy to pick just one photo each week, but I’ll try. :)
